Fetish People want to maintain the First Amendment!
Who knew life could be so sexy?
Readers, In this week's Oklahoma Gazette (www.okgazette.com) there is an op/ed written by Jason Reese plainly stating that people who want to maintain separation of religion and civil law have made a fetish of the First Amendment.
Mr. Reese is clearly upset by the recent OKC chapter of Americans United for the Sepertion of Chruch & State (AU) ( www.au.org , www.okau.org ) Legislative Preview held in the Oklahoma Senate chamber on January 29. You can read about the Preview here: http://bit.ly/fZG01J
We have another topical event coming up on Thursday, February 24: a debate between Dr. Bruce Prescott, executive director of Mainstream Baptists, and Dr. Steve Kern, pastor of Olivet Baptist Church in OKC. Their respective websites are: http://mainstreambaptist.

Odd, isn't it, that the First Amendment clause concerning religion has served the country well for over 220 years but now, mysteriously, it doesn't.
